This stars quilt was crafted for a spirited middle school girl. The stars are fashioned from a mix of t-shirt material, flannel, and blouses. The border features fabric repurposed from a dress, while the background is made of cotton adorned with inspirational wording, adding a unique and meaningful touch to the design.
The window pane quilt was crafted for a graduating high school senior, incorporating T-shirts and the grunge cotton fabric line. The use of T-shirts for the borders added a distinctive touch, bringing the entire quilt together seamlessly.
This quilt was fashioned using the same pattern as the adjacent orange one. It features a Harley-Davidson theme with shades of blues and greys, creating a unique and complementary design.
I adore the design of this quilt. I received a mix of shirts from high school musicals and various favorites. Employing the diamond pattern, I skillfully integrated the back of the T-shirts as borders for each of the fronts, filling in the spaces with the random shirts. The use of browns, as suggested by the client, added a vibrant pop to the overall look.
This block quilt was created for a middle school boy using exclusively T-shirts. Each block is bordered with a cotton fabric featuring inspirational wording, adding a meaningful and uplifting element to the overall design.
This filmstrip quilt was designed from some pictures I saw. I really made it up as I went so I could be sure to fit in all the T-shirts that I had. The material between each strip was from T-shirts as well. The quilting is the ginger star design.
This quilt is crafted from my son's High School T-shirts, featuring a background fabric sourced from the Moda Grunge line. The incorporation of flames adds a dynamic and impactful touch to the overall design.
This heart quilt was created for a 4-year-old using her mother's shirts and dresses. The white background fabric is repurposed from the girl's own baby blanket, adding a sentimental and personal touch to the design.
I aimed for a design that would maximize the use of fabric from various shirts, and this particular pattern proved to be the perfect solution. The only exception is the border and binding, which come from different materials. The back of the quilt is made from a fleece blanket they provided for use. I quilted it in the ginger heart pattern, and I'm delighted with the final result.
