My quilting journey began about a decade ago, inspired by the infectious enthusiasm of my mother as she shared her quilting projects. With her guidance, I dove into the basics and found myself immediately addicted. Quilting became more than a hobby; it became my escape, a source of joy, and a shared passion with my mother, leading to countless quilt shop hopping adventures and cherished stories.

The spark for The Monthly Stitch, ignited in the fall of 2021. During the challenging period from October 2020 to September 2021, I embarked on a journey to spread joy by creating monthly pillow covers for family and friends. As the year came to an end, I felt a desire to extend this joyous endeavor. That's when the idea struck – why not create a space where each month brings a unique item, themed and crafted with love? Thus, The Monthly Stitch was born, a place where sewing becomes a delightful experience for me and brings joy to all who visit.

In 2023, we've taken a bold step forward. March marked the acquisition of a longarm, allowing us to elevate our craft. Alongside our signature monthly creations, we now offer professional longarm services, specialize in crafting T-shirt quilts, provide meticulous binding services, and ensure the completion of various projects.
